Elast-O-Sealant 300ml
Elastic, solvent containing sealant, based on synthetic rubber. Silicone free.
PROPERTIES: Versatile application, high mould resistant, high elasticity - stretch up to 30%, paintable with
most paints, adheres to most surfaces, can be overworked after curing, easy application.
Weather and ageing resistant for lifelong protection.
APPLICATION: For expansion and connecting joints. For roofing, facades, glass, polycarbonates,
kitchens and bathrooms etc. Adheres without primer to wood, concrete, metal (including
copper and lead), glass, polycarbonate and many plastics - wet or dry.
Approved by Macrolux for use with Polycarbonate.

FOR USE: The points of contact must be clean and solid. Store cartridges at room temperature

The points of contact must be clean and solid. Store cartridges at room temperature
before use. Smooth surfaces may be wet, porous ones should be dry. For final
smoothing immediately use turps or soapy water. Joint edges can be taped.
(Remove tape immediately after sealing). When used under water for a long time
white Exitex Elast -O- Sealant may turn yellow, however this does not affect the quality
of the material. Preliminary tests are recommended.
PAINTABLE: With commercial paints and varnishes. When using solvent containing paints drying
of the sealant may be retarded. Preliminary tests necessary.
PACKAGING: 300ml Cartridges, 20 cartridges per carton, 60 cartons per pallet. REF: E.O.S.
STORAGE: Shelf life: Maximum 2 years at room temperature. Not exceeding 600 C, frost resistant.

Density: 0.94g/cm3.
Permissible stress and strain: Max 30%. E-Module 100%: 0.5 N/mm.
Curing: By physical drying.
Volumn shrinkage: Approx 20%.
Shore A hardness: 25 + or - 5.
Application temperature: +50 C to +400 C.
Temperature resistance: -250 C to +1000 C.
Smoothing Time: 0 - 5 minutes. Longer during inclement weather.
CAUTION: Keep away from sources of ignition. No smoking. Do not breathe vapour. Avoid
contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water
and seek medical advice. Keep out of reach of children.
